Types of Bulletproof Bag Inserts:

1. Soft Bag Inserts

Soft bulletproof bag inserts are thin, light, and flexible, offering minimal weight and maximum comfort while protecting against shot guns and handguns up to 44 magnum. Hardwire soft bag inserts come in 2 different sizes but both offer NIJ Level 3A protection. Soft Inserts weigh less than a pound.

 NIJ LEVEL 3A - Protects against shotguns and handguns. Tested to stop .357 SIG and .44 Magnum ammunition fired from longer barrel handguns. No rifle ammunition protection.

10X13 SOFT ARMOR BAG INSERT

 SQUARE SOFT INSERT - NIJ Level 3A

  • Weight = 0.51 lbs.
  • Size = 10" x 13" x 0.125"

SOFT 11X17 BAG INSERT

ROUNDED SOFT INSERT - NIJ Level 3A

    2. Hard Bag Inserts

    Hardwire hard bag inserts come in 2 protection levels: NIJ Level 3A and NIJ Level 3. Both protection levels are stab-proof and come in a variety of 6 patterns to choose from. Both measuring at 10 X 13", these bag inserts are roughly the same size as the armor plates worn by law enforcement.

     LEVEL 3A HARD BAG INSERT

    HARD INSERT - NIJ Level 3A

    • Weight = 1 lb.
    • Size = 10" x 13" x 0.25"

    NIJ LEVEL 3A - Protects against shotguns and handguns. Tested to stop .357 SIG and .44 Magnum ammunition fired from longer barrel handguns. No rifle ammunition protection.

    • Weight = 3.5 lbs.
    • Size = 10" x 13" x 0.75"

    NIJ LEVEL 3 - Protects against shotguns,  handguns, and rifles. Tested to stop 7.62mm FMJ lead core rifle ammunition.
