Ambush Shooting of Officer in Vehicle in Baltimore

Dec 16, 2021 - Overnight while sitting in her patrol vehicle, a female officer was shot in an ambush style shooting in Baltimore, Maryland. At present she is in Shock Trauma in Downtown Baltimore. WBAL 11 is covering the story. Here is a link to their coverage.

Baltimore Police Commissioner, Michael Harrison, addressed press.

The governor of Maryland, Larry Hogan, tweeted, "This morning, a Baltimore Police officer was shot in a despicable, ambush-style attack in South Baltimore. We have offered the full resources of the Maryland State Police to assist in the investigation. I ask all Marylanders to keep the officer in your prayers."

The officer is being treated at Trauma Shock in Downtown Baltimore.
